Gingrich takes stimulus jab at the ‘San Francisco mouse’
Former House speaker Newt Gingrich took aim at the stimulus bill by taking on its “smallest” provision.
He tweeted:
Every democrat who voted for the $787 billion “stimulus” package can now campaign as a friend of the san francisco mouse
House Minority Leader John Boehner’s (R-Ohio) office has targeted a $16.1 million program designed to save salt marsh harvest mice in San Francisco as an example of stimulus waste.
