T.O. rips King over MJ comments

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens expressed his outrage over remarks Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) made yesterday calling Michael Jackson a “low-life” and a “pedophile.”

The six-time Pro Bowler tweeted today:

HOW IGNORANT IS PETER KING?!

Yesterday, the Long Island Republican blasted the wall-to-wall media coverage surrounding Jackson’s death compared to the minimal coverage of U.S. soldiers dying overseas.

He said, “Let’s knock out the psychobabble, this guy was a pervert, he was a child molester, he was a pedophile, and to be giving this much coverage to him day in and day out, what does it say about us and our country?”

King defended his comments today, calling the media coverage of Jackson an “orgy of glorification.” The late pop star’s fans are up in arms, organizing groups online to ensure his defeat in the 2010 elections.

Jackson’s memorial service is set to take place today in Los Angeles.
