Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) appears to be boosting her credentials as a hockey mom by commenting on the NHL free agent market.
She tweeted:
Best of luck to Scotty Gomez, AK’s greatest hockey player, as he joins up w/ Montreal Canadians.
Gomez was, in fact, involved in a six-player deal between the Canadiens and the New York Rangers.
Last October, Palin dropped the puck at a Philadelphia Flyers home game and was booed by the fans:
We’ll have to give the Alaska governor credit though. After all, Philly is the city that booed Santa Claus.
