Take me out to the courtroom
This morning, Brad Peck of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce used the mishaps of one trial lawyer as a case against them all. He tweeted:
Going to see Bosox -O’s today…what Angelos has done to that team is the biggest argument against letting trial lawyers run the country…
Orioles fans might not find Peck’s dig so funny. The O’s haven’t had a winning season since 1997. Since that season, they have posted a 826-1031 record. Over the course of the losing streak, Orioles fans have pinned their losing ways on Peter Angelos, the team’s owner. Many around baseball have labeled Angelos, who is a Baltimore-based trial lawyer, heavy-handed and cheap.
