Major Garrett gets cartoon avatar

Fox News’ senior White House correspondent Major Garrett received a significant upgrade to his Twitter page today. He tweeted:

I salute those hardy, genuinely tireless (not tireless in the DC cliche’ sense) tweeps who pushed/created CARTOON MajoratWH. Much respect.

Garrett’s new avatar, which is reminiscent of a South Park character, is not the first of its kind. Twitter addicts know that ABC’s senior White House correspondent Jake Tapper has a similar icon. White House blogger Tommy Christopher also has a cartoon avatar.
