Stephanopoulos goes for second ‘Twitterview’

News broke this afternoon that ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos will conduct another “Twitterview,” this time with California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa.

Issa tweeted:

I’m practicing thinking in 140 or less! @kkrahel I’m George Stephanopoulos’ 2nd Twitterview tomorrow at 2 PM http://bit.ly/12jTc #tcot

Issa links to Stephanopoulos’ blog, where he announced the “Twitterview” around noon today. The host of “This Week” indicated he will ask Issa about the stimulus package and the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan.

In March, Stephanopoulos’s conducted his first “Twitterview” with Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), which was designed to be a full interview conducted on Twitter complete with the 140 character limit. The decision to schedule another “Twitterview” seems to indicate that Stephanopoulos is embracing the unique interview method moving forward.
