Rep. Artur Davis (D), who is considering a run for governor of Alabama, is checking in on state issues Wednesday via Twitter.
Davis called a state board’s meeting on a college tuition savings’ plan disappointing via tweet.
“Disappointed in yesterday’s PACT board meeting,” he said. “Read my response here.”
Davis linked to a Mobile Press-Register article, in which he blasted the state board’s meeting, and called for tax rebates for those who decide to exit the tuition savings’ program.
The tweet reflects a growing focus on Alabama issues ahead of a likely gubernatorial run for Davis.
