McCaskill sweats out Missouri basketball win

Like many other fans of the Missouri Tigers, who held off a surging Memphis team in last night’s Sweet Sixteen basketball game, Sen. Claire McCaskill sweated out the minor upset while watching TV last night.

McCaskill checked in a few times. First, while watching the game on her laptop:

Just went to Duke game, now watching on laptop. Go black and gold Tigers…run em ragged.

Then at the end of the first half:

Z O U! Lordy Lordy what a shot!!!! Now one more half like that…….

And, finally, at the end of the game:

Almost gave me a heart attack…but yahoo!!… Now on to UConn. Please make free throws on Sat guys.Go Tigers!

Not to be outdone, Rep. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) was also sure to tweet his congratulations to the Tigers:
