McCotter takes no prisoners in Twitterview

Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.) is taking no prisoners on Twitter today, taking aim at Fox News’s Greg Gutfield (host of the late-night show “Red Eye”), U2 frontman Bono, and even his own boss, House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio).

From McCotters tweets today. First, he has a sneaking suspicion:

I have the sneaking suspicion I’m being watched as I twitter to strangers…

Only to have it confirmed:

My suspicions are confirmed. it’s an aptly named Fox cable camera crew. are these sly voyeurs from fox news or fox business? it’s no moot [point]

McCotter then went on against the “Red Eye” host, on whose show he’s been a regular guest lately:

If Fox News, it could be that ignoble savage Greg Gutfold from “Red Eye.” That would necessitate a restraining order.

McCotter then started his Twitterview with Fox’s Brian Wilson, who informed him:

It’s Fox News’ Brian Wilson! He’s reporting that Greg Gutfold took on a restraining order on me! C’est la vie!

And then, moving ahead, McCotter tweeted that he was headed to Boehner’s office, to meet with Bono. But McCotter also had to take a shot at his GOP leader:

I’m going to meet Bono in the Leader’s office. I wonder if Boehner knows Bono? Of course Boehner thinks U2 is still just a spy plane.

Finally, ever the rock music fan, McCotter had to take a shot at Bono, too:

Walking to see Bono. Should I ask for my money back I spent on “Boy”?
