Rep. Mary Bono Mack (R-Calif.) showed support for her husband, Rep. Connie Mack (R-Fla.), in a couple of tweets Monday morning.
Mack met with Ecuadorian Pres. Rafael Correa during this past weekend’s Summit of the Americas, where Mack took Correa to task for the Ecuadorian leader’s relationship with Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez.
Bono Mack tweeted Monday:
Am proud of my husband Connie. I saw him stand face to face with Pres Correa and tell him Chavez is not a good man. Didn’t dice any words.
She followed up shortly thereafter:
Connie told Correa to be careful of the friends you keep.
