Vitter: Don’t strong-arm me
Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) made clear he was far from happy with the White House’s criticism Wednesday of his hold on the nominee to head the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Vitter tweeted Thursday:
Today the Obama Admin tried to strong arm me to allow a quick vote on his FEMA nominee. Unacceptable. Read more http://blog.davidvitter.com
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs slammed Vitter Wednesday for “political posturing” on the FEMA nomination.
