Rep. Jose Serrano (D-N.Y.) was reportedly in tears Tuesday morning over the selection of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to join the Supreme Court.
ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos tweeted after speaking with Serrano, a native of the Bronx like Sotomayor, the first Hispanic and third woman nominated to the Court.
