Perhaps matching the two governors’ states, Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) tweeted Sunday morning about being in the spirit of baseball, not hockey like Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R).
While Pawlenty may be celebrating the spirit of the Stanley Cup, Perry is celebrating the spirit of Longhorns Baseball.
The University of Texas team won the longest game in college baseball history last night, leading Perry to tweet:
stayed up past midnight watching Texas vs Boston College baseball game…25 innings. some history made and Longhorns pull it out 3-2.
