There’s a lot of congressional firepower on this afternoon’s flights to D.C., it seems.
While lawmakers are predictably returning to Washington for work this week, a couple of planes are stacked with several lawmakers.
After Rep. Sander Levin (D-Mich.) tweeted about flying with his brother, Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), Rep. Chellie Pingree (D-Maine) let loose some details about the passenger list of her flight back to Washington Monday afternoon.
Just boarded US Air to DC, votes tonight. Mike and Olympia on this packed plane too….this will be very busy week in DC, hot too!!!
Of course, Pingree is referring to her colleagues in the House and Senate, Rep. Mike Michaud (D-Maine) and Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-Maine).
