White House and lawmakers tweet TV transition
After having extended the transition deadline for months, the congressionally-mandated switch to digital television takes place Friday, and political tweeters won’t let you forget about it.
A number of lawmakers and even the White House took time to remind Americans about the switch, which takes place tonight.
Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) tweeted:
Nervous about digital tv transition.We’ve done so much outreach helpng people prepare.There’ll be some cranky folks if their sets go fuzzy.
