L.A. Times Protecting Obama from YouTube

In a disgusting and disturbing display of leftist activism devoid of any journalistic integrity, the Los Angeles Times is suppressing a very important tape showing Barack Obama toasting anti-Israel Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi at a 2003 function also allegedly attended by Bill Ayers — you know, the domestic terrorist who hosted a fundraiser for Obama in his home, and on whose book Obama penned an endorsement and with whom Obama served on boards but with whom Obama claims with a straight face he is only somewhat acquainted.

The L.A. Times has put yet another nail in the coffin of journalism. They are an arm of the Obama campaign and have proven as much by not releasing their tape of Obama praising Khalidi because it might change some voters’ minds, particularly in the all-important state of Florida.

Admitting in print they have the tape is nothing more than a cheap cover-your-ass move on the part of the so-called newspaper. With print in decline and the Internet ruling the political landscape, the L.A. Times/Obama campaign knows full well that the tape would be the top-viewed YouTube video between now and Election Day, as well as a hit on one or two of the cable television networks. (I won’t even pretend that all three would show this very newsworthy item if it in any way, shape or form would cost Obama a point or two or three on Election Day.)

The Obama tape is newsworthy. Very, very newsworthy. It is in an important context with other key information the mainstream media are ignoring and have deemed off-limits that outlines a pattern with Barack Obama, his worldview and his true ideology. Voters have no record or results or accomplishments (beyond his own personal political career ambitions) on which to judge Obama. For a major news organization to blatantly attempt to manipulate the election in such a dishonest manner should send a shiver of fear and dread down the spine of every freedom-loving American.

The United States has clashed with nations around the globe fighting, in part, for a free and honest press so that citizens of those countries are well-informed. Who will fight for the United States as our own press engages in activity so dangerous as suppression, manipulation and intimidation? It is obviously angering, but it is now starting to become downright frightening.
