I’m Sorry, Rush

My version of the fill-in-the-blanks form on the DCCC.org website:

Dear Rush,

I am sorry I called you a thorn in the side of the Obama socialist agenda. In fact, the Democrats are terrified of you, so you are obviously much, much more than a mere thorn.

My comments were greatly understating the level of fear you instill in Obama, Pelosi, Reid, et al.

What I meant to say was you are a huge threat to the Obama socialist agenda AND to Rahm Emanuel’s reputation as a smart, tough political operative. He’s obviously a lightweight if this anti-Rush ad campaign is the best he can come up with as the new White House chief of staff. How embarrassing for him!

Yeah, sometimes I am immune to the scare tactics of the far left.

Everyone knows we Republicans like to say one thing and then do another, right? Look in the mirror, President Obama! What about your promise to go through budgets line by line and fight to eliminate wasteful spending and support earmark reform — hmmm?

You and I both know that in reality, you simply want President Obama to fail in this time of economic collapse, so that the free market, capitalism, fiscal responsibility and accountability can prevail in real, long-term economic recovery.

Please accept my sincere apology oh great leader of the Republican Party — well, not our leader, but certainly a strong voice that has Rahm Emanuel shaking in his ballet slippers! If you were the leader of the GOP, Rahm just might wet himself.

Can’t wait to listen to your next show along with 20 million others in your audience and growing every day, thanks to the Obama team’s amateur-hour antics.

Sincerely,

Cheri Jacobus

P.S. Please promise to keep the photograph of Rahm Emanuel wearing his tutu and ballet slippers posted on your website for as long as he is employed by Obama. It’s quite precious. You could snap him like a twig. Heck — even I could snap him like a twig.
