Under Trump, ‘Fast and Furious’ probe will expose truth

“But do not be afraid of those who threaten you.  For the time is coming when everything that is covered will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all.”

Matthew 10:26 is seemingly a harbinger of finally uncovering the truth regarding both the illegal weapon-running operation known as “Fast and Furious” and the slaying of Border Patrol agent and Marine veteran Brian Terry.

{mosads}During the Michigan presidential Republican primary in March of 2016, then-candidate Donald Trump promised both Kent Terry and Michelle Terry-Balogh, siblings of Brian Terry, if elected he would get the truth and answers regarding both Fast and Furious and the murder of Brian. He also gave his word to hold those responsible accountable for their actions.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said during the committee’s Tuesday meeting that President Trump instructed him and the committee to pursue every government investigation they deem appropriate.

Chaffetz stated the conversation took place at the GOP 2017 retreat in Philadelphia.

According to Chaffetz President Trump told him: “Listen, I understand that I am the President. You have a job to do.You do oversight. Don’t slow down. You go after everything you want to go after. You look at everything you want to look at … don’t slow down, do your job, there’s a lot to get after with the government.”

The Wednesday before the Inauguration last month, both Kent Terry and Ron Willis (Kent’s brother-in-law and husband of Kelly Terry-Willis) were invited to D.C. to meet with Chaffetz and others.

They were afforded the opportunity to ask any questions about Fast and Furious.  After the meeting Ron stated:

“All went well. Looks like everyone is on board. As soon as the Attorney General [Senator Jeff Sessions] gets confirmed, they will ‘hit the ground running.’”

Kelly Terry-Willis had this to offer as both the administration and HOGR ostensibly prepare to fully engage:

“My family has had to live 6 years with lies and cover ups from the Obama Administration. They [the previous Administration] could have made this right six years ago, when Brian was murdered. Instead, they covered lies with more lies. Throwing executive privilege on the truth, I assume, to save their own.

“Now we have a glimmer of hope back that [President]Trump and his Administration will make things right; expose what really happened and finally give Brian the justice he deserves. There have been some in Congress who have kept up the fight in getting those held accountable for starting a deadly program. My family is very thankful for them. We continue to stand behind them and hope Mr. Trump will lift the executive privilege so they can get to the bottom and help my family get the truth and accountability that Brian deserves.

“Let’s not forget my brother gave the ultimate sacrifice, [only] miles from the Mexico border. The men who killed him were not coming into our country for food and water. They came to retrieve guns that our government supplied. They came ready to fight and kill, if needed, to get those weapons back to Mexico and into drug cartels’ hands. They did just that when they took my brother’s life.

“If I had to stand in a room with the President, I would ask him to think [not only] about Brian, but also all DHS agents who go out there every single day protecting our borders. Their morale is finally lifting again because they know Trump will give them the tools and respect to do their jobs.”

Kent Terry recently relayed:

“I guess what the million-dollar question is…do you believe what the government said is the truth regarding Fast and Furious? I sure don’t.  It’s been six years and still no answers — and getting them seems impossible.

They [the government] played some type of role in Brian’s death. We know Brian was bothered and that the government turned a blind eye on guns being walked. Brian had a conversation with me and explained his passion for his job — that he loved — but couldn’t stay there and watch this [government involved in running weapons into Mexico to the cartels] happen. He had too much integrity. We know Brian sent three emails to his superiors — and it wasn’t about time off.

If that were the case, they would let us [Brian’s family] read these emails or hand them over to us. We think these emails were about knowing there was guns being handed over to the Mexican drug cartels, and he [Brian] wanted to expose the agents helping this happen.

The last time Brian was home he told me he was putting in for a transfer. He wanted no part in any criminal activities [by the government or anyone else]. He was going to surprise our mother at Christmas that he was moving closer to home.

Then minutes before his shift ended before coming to Michigan for Christmas, he was murdered. That’s when we learned he had told our mom that something bad was going to happen and he was concerned. I personally think Brian was set up out there — not by his team, but someone(s) who worried they would be exposed. They thought he was expendable and needed to be dealt with.

Then at the murder scene guns were found and traced back to Operation Fast and Furious. Let’s remember this was never disclosed to our family until months later when heroic whistleblowers came forward. We were told three weapons were found — then only two. That’s when the lies began and cover-ups started.

What I wonder is if a sensor was tripped showing a RIP crew [group who allegedly robs drug smugglers] was in the area, did a sensor go off after the gunfight ended to show a proximity of where they were and maybe easier to catch? Or was it not working so these men could make it back to Mexico?

I believe Brian was in their agenda to kill by an informant for the government. What I do feel is truth is Brian loved his job and peers just as much as he loved his family and country.

With the Trump administration and oversight committee [HOGR], our family has higher expectations of getting answers. I think when they investigate Benghazi and FF they will find they’re connected; and if they tried to cover up the assassination of a U.S. ambassador, they could definitely do the same with Brian.”

Having both had threats and attacks visited upon my family and me regarding this topic and having been involved with providing information on both Wide Receiver and Fast and Furious since October 2005, the discernment of both the Terry family and a select few in Congress is unimpeachable.

Apropos of both what Kelly Terry-Willis said about the men who were involved in the murder of Brian coming into the U.S. to retrieve guns that our government supplied and Kent Terry’s au fait suspicions of direct government involvement, there remain individuals with penetrating information regarding Fast and Furious who have, again, offered to relay all they both know and experienced to the Trump Administration and/or HOGR.

President Trump, you have made many sincere promises to the people of our Republic; please keep the solemn vow you made to the weary Terry family foremost on your agenda.
