Dixie Chicks use horned Trump as concert backdrop

Country music group the Dixie Chicks made its opinion of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump very clear at a concert this week, performing in front of a photo of him with drawn-on horns and facial hair.

{mosads}The performance, in Cincinnati, Ohio, was the first U.S. stop on the group’s world tour. The Dixie Chicks played “Goodbye Earl,” a song about two female friends who murder an abusive husband, in front of the Trump image.

The group faced backlash more than 10 years ago, when one member of the trio said she was “ashamed” that then-President George W. Bush was from Texas.
