Obama takes in ‘Hamilton’ on Broadway during NYC visit
President Obama took in the Broadway show “Hamilton” on Saturday during a visit to New York City with his daughters, the Associated Press reported.
{mosads}The president and his children visited New York’s Central Park with Obama’s sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, and her husband, Konrad Ng. The group then traveled to the restaurant Gramercy Park at Upland for lunch before catching the play.
The Obama family visited Greenwich Village for dinner at Carbone on Friday and toured New York’s Whitney Museum of American Art.
Obama’s eldest daughter, Malia, is working in New York on an internship with HBO television show “Girls.” She met up with the president and Malia at the onset of the New York trip.
The president returned to Washington later Saturday. He will head back to New York on Tuesday for a fundraiser and an appearance on “The Daily Show” with Jon Stewart.
