Reigning U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau is taking a swing at resolving President Biden and former President Trump’s golf-related clash at their debate, offering to host a match between the candidates.

“Let’s settle this whole handicap debate,” DeChambeau said in a Thursday night post on the social platform X, shortly after the presidential debate wrapped up.

“I’ll host the golf match on my YouTube,” DeChambeau said, tagging both Biden and Trump’s social media accounts.

The two candidates squabbled over golf handicaps during the debate hosted by CNN.

“I just won two club championships,” Trump boasted, in response to a question about his fitness for office.

“To do that you have to be quite smart, and you have to hit a ball a long way. And I do it. He doesn’t do it — he can’t hit a ball 50 yards,” he added in a knock at Biden.

“I got my handicap, when I was vice president, down to 6,” Biden said.

“That’s the biggest lie — that he’s a 6 handicap — of all,” Trump shot back.

DeChambeau, who’s golfed with Trump before, has praised the 45th president in the past.

“Very lucky to have a relationship with him, and he’s always been generous to me,” the LIV Golf star said in 2022

After clinching his second major championship win earlier this month, DeChambeau was seen in a video drinking wine from his trophy with Eric Trump, the ex-president’s son.
