Biden shares birthday message to Jill as Hunter heads to court: You are ‘the rock of our family’

President Biden is wishing Jill Biden a happy birthday, dubbing the first lady the “rock” of their family.

The community college professor and wife of the commander in chief marked her 73rd birthday Monday.

In a message posted on social platform X, the president wrote: “Happy birthday to the love of my life, the life of my love, and the rock of our family.”

“I love you, Jilly,” he said.

In a separate post on his White House account, Biden said he was “so proud to be Jill Biden’s husband.”

But the first lady kicked off her birthday in a venue hardly equipped for a celebration: a Delaware courthouse. The first lady was seen arriving Monday at the court in Wilmington where Hunter Biden is poised to go on trial on federal gun charges.

“Happy birthday,” Hunter Biden told her as they waited for jury selection to begin, according to The Washington Post.

“I got you a special event,” he quipped, which reportedly prompted laughter from both of them.
