Mick Jagger makes surprise SNL cameo
Mick Jagger joined the cast of “Saturday Night Live” along with musician Bad Bunny for two surprise cameos in a soap opera scene and convent meeting sketch.
The Rolling Stones frontman first made an appearance in a theatrical telenovela sketch alongside Saturday’s host, Bad Bunny, and SNL cast member Marcello Hernández.
Crashing the scene as the father of the pair, Jagger intervenes as a verbal argument between the fictional brothers heats up. Jagger, wearing a cream suit, wide brim hat and skinny mustache, breaks up the the fight by slapping both brothers in a dramatic end to the scene.
The fictional taping of the soap opera scene is initially disrupted when a non-Spanish speaking actor – “Latina Jefferson,” portrayed by Punkie Johnson – has trouble delivering a line with the correct Spanish pronunciation.
Jagger also played an imposter nun, “Sister Kevin,” in a sketch alongside Bad Bunny and cast members including Chloe Fineman and Heidi Gardner.
Actor Pedro Pascal made a cameo as well during the Saturday show, helping to translate Bad Bunny’s monologue after the Puerto Rican singer opted to deliver it in Spanish. Lady Gaga also made an appearance, introducing Bad Bunny as both the host and musical guest.
