Pop star Taylor Swift has been spotted for the second week in a row cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs — this time in East Rutherford, N.J.
The “Cruel Summer” singer is rumored to be dating Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Chiefs. Photos show Swift cheering at MetLife Stadium alongside other celebrities, including actress Blake Lively, actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman and singer Sabrina Carpenter, who is opening for Swift in her international leg of her record-breaking “Eras” tour.
NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” posted a video on X, formerly known as Twitter, showing Swift and Lively reacting to the Chiefs scoring a touchdown against the New York Jets. The singer-songwriter had last been in New Jersey for three nights at MetLife Stadium in May, performing in front of 70,000 screaming “Swifties.”
Swift’s appearance during the Chiefs home game at Arrowhead Stadium last week garnered national attention, as fans noticed the 12-time Grammy winner wearing red and white alongside Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce. Kelce had invited Swift to the game at Arrowhead shortly after he tried to hand her a friendship bracelet when she performed in Kansas City over the summer.
After news broke that Swift would likely be attending the game Sunday, tickets for the Jets-Chiefs game reportedly jumped more than 40 percent, online marketplace TickPick told CNN. Kelce’s jersey sales also reportedly jumped up by nearly 400 percent in the days following last week’s game, Fanatics told CNN.
Swift’s Eras Tour is slated to resume Nov. 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It’s not clear whether she plans to attend the following Chiefs games over the next month.
