Reality television star Kim Kardashian West reportedly visited with inmates at a California women’s prison last week.
According to a TMZ report, the reality star met with 15 women at the California Institution for Women in Corona on Friday to learn more about the day-to-day lives of the inmates.
TMZ reported that Kardashian visited the California facility for several hours and that she toured the grounds and living facilities prior to meeting with inmates.
She reportedly plans to create a program to help recently released women adjust to life after prison.

This was not Kardashian’s first time in the spotlight on the issue of prison reform.
In May, she met with President Trump in the Oval Office to discuss the issue and pressed the president to pardon a 62-year-old great-grandmother, Alice Marie Johnson, who was serving a life sentence for a nonviolent drug offense.
Trump granted clemency to Johnson just days after meeting with Kardashian.
Kardashian has also reportedly been in talks with Jared Kushner, the president’s adviser and son-in-law, who is leading the Trump administration’s work on prison reform.
