Michael Moore producing Trump documentary titled ‘Fahrenheit 11/9’
Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore is working on a documentary about President Trump titled “Fahrenheit 11/9,” a reference to the day that Trump became president-elect of the United States.
Moore will partner with Harvey Weinstein as the pair team up for the first time since their previous 2004 project “Fahrenheit 9/11,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
{mosads}”There is no greater part of what we can do right now than to have the power to bring Michael Moore to a mass audience,” Weinstein in a statement.
Weinstein maintained that the team seeks to “break all records” with the new film much like they did with “Fahrenheit 9/11.”
“When we had the opportunity to work with him on Fahrenheit 9/11, we were so persistent that we ultimately had to part ways from Disney and we lost our beloved Miramax, named after our parents, because we believed so strongly in the message,” Weinstein said.
“The movie broke all records then, and we plan to do so again. This movie will have one of the most innovative distribution plans ever. Now more than ever, Michael’s appetite for the truth is crucial. We are ecstatic to be a part of this revolution,” he added.
“Fahrenheit 9/11” is the top-grossing documentary of all time after earning $119 million in its U.S. release.
