Trump, Clinton Halloween costumes get an upgrade

Donald Trump is getting a makeover — or at least a popular Halloween costume based on the GOP presidential nominee is.

“Donna T. 2.0” is a follow-up to online retailer Yandy.com’s sell-out Halloween costume from last year, “Donna T. Rumpshaker.”

{mosads}The 2015 original version of the Trump-inspired outfit sold out, generating “blockbuster sales,” the Phoenix-based e-commerce giant tells ITK.

“Costumes these days are often about capturing the timely story and transforming it into something fun and sexy,” Yandy.com founder and CEO Chad Horstman said in a news release.

“With this year’s presidential election in particular, it’s clear our customers are looking for any opportunity they can to have fun with it and lighten the mood this Halloween.”

For $70, “Donna T. 2.0” features a navy blue blazer, a risqué open neckline shirt, a red tie and navy pants. An American flag pin completes the look, which just went on sale this week.

But worry not, traditionalists, “Donna T. Rumpshaker,” — which is similar to “2.0” but comes with blue “booty shorts” — is also back by popular demand, Yandy.com tells us.

This year, the company is also introducing a daring costume to represent another White House hopeful.

“The more feedback we received, the more it was clear that [customers] were looking for something that captured both sides of this year’s political rivalry and that could be worn this Halloween in tandem,” Horstman said in his release.

Enter “Capitol Hill.”

While it’s hard to imagine Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton sporting the $60 NSFW get-up, the creators of the costume say buyers can “go from first lady to the Oval Office” in the limited-edition attire.

“Capitol Hill” comes with a long-sleeved, low-cut blue mini dress. Like “Donna 2.0,” the Clinton-esque duds rock an American flag pin.
