Ivanka Trump: Donald ‘really amazing’ with the grandkids

Ivanka Trump says her father is “really amazing” with his grandchildren, even if they’re too young to understand that Donald Trump running for president.

The 34-year-old executive vice president at the Trump Organization and daughter of the GOP presidential candidate offers her take on her dad’s grandparenting skills in an interview with Yahoo Parenting published Thursday.

{mosads}“He’s really, really amazing with the kids,” says Trump, mom to Arabella, 4, and Joseph, 2.”

Saying the family sees each other most weekends during the summer and at his golf clubs, Trump, who’s currently pregnant with her third child with husband Jared Kushner, adds her children “spend a lot of time rolling around with him on golf carts. They adore him.”

While Ivanka, the eldest daughter of Trump’s five children, says her kids are “a little bit young to pick up on” her father’s White House bid, he has left a lasting impression on his granddaughter.

“I was walking down the street with Arabella and she saw a large pothole and said, ‘Mom, Grandpa would not like that!’ She gets that from driving around with him,” says Trump. “I just thought that was such a cute comment. [Because of him,] she’s paying attention to New York City infrastructure!”
