A charity contest promises to get the winner “one step closer to the White House … almost,” with a chance to meet Robin Wright, who plays the fictional vice president’s wife on “House of Cards.”
The charity auction site Charitybuzz is opening up bids for a meeting with Wright, along with a behind-the-scenes tour of the popular Netflix political drama’s set in Baltimore. Wright portrays the devious Claire Underwood, opposite Kevin Spacey as the vice president, on the series.
Proceeds from the auction will support the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California. The current top bid for the “House of Cards” prize is more than $2,500. Bidding ends July 1.
