Senate advances 11th Circuit nominee
The Senate voted 58-33 Thursday night to end debate on the nomination of Jill Pryor to be U.S. Circuit Judge for the Eleventh Circuit.
{mosads}Cloture on her nomination is the last vote before senators return home for the five-week August recess.
Her final confirmation is expected when lawmakers return in September.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said the Senate will be in session Friday but that no more votes are expected until September.
