Senate confirms HUD assistant secretary

The Senate voted Wednesday to confirm three of President Obama’s executive nominees.

{mosads}Erika Moritsugu was confirmed to be an assistant secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The Senate also confirmed Richard Kennedy to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority and Cynthia Akuetteh to be U.S. ambassador to the Gabonese Republic, Sao Tome and Principe.

All three were confirmed by voice-vote.
