Sebelius to testify before Senate panel
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will testify before the Senate Finance Committee on Thursday.
Sebelius will be speaking about President Obama’s 2015 budget proposal, but Republicans senators are likely to grill her about ObamaCare.
{mosads}Republicans continue to call for a full repeal of the Affordable Care Act — also known as ObamaCare — even though the president announced this week that his goal of signing up 7 million people was exceeded. Monday was the deadline to sign up for the exchanges.
Sebelius isn’t the only Cabinet member testifying next week. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee will hear from Secretary of State John Kerry Tuesday, also on Obama’s budget proposal. Kerry used to head that committee when he was a senator.
