The House will vote Wednesday on a bill to expand college savings plans, while the Senate awaits action on DHS funding.
Final passage of the measure sponsored by Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R-Kan.) to expand the college savings plans, known as 529s, is expected around 3-4 p.m. Votes on the rule setting up floor debate will be around 1-2 p.m.
{mosads}The House will also begin consideration of H.R. 5, which would replace the No Child Left Behind education law.
Meanwhile, the Senate will convene at 9:30 a.m. No votes are currently scheduled.
