The House will clear a bill approving the Keystone pipeline on Wednesday, while the Senate currently has no votes scheduled.
Wednesday’s vote will officially send the Senate-passed legislation approving construction of the Keystone XL pipeline to President Obama, who is expected to veto it. The House passed a Keystone bill last month, but the Senate tacked amendments onto its version regarding climate change and energy efficiency.
{mosads}The House will convene at 10 a.m. for morning hour debate and noon for legislative business. Votes on the rule will be around 1:45-2:45 p.m., and a vote on final passage of the Keystone pipeline is expected around 3:45-4:45 p.m.
Also on the House schedule is a resolution that would award a Congressional Gold Medal to civil rights marchers.
The Senate, meanwhile, currently has no business on the agenda apart from convening at 9:30 a.m.
