Tuesday: ObamaCare, immigration

The House will vote yet again to repeal ObamaCare on Tuesday, while a Senate procedural vote on DHS spending is expected to fail.

The ObamaCare repeal vote, which will be nearly the 60th to undermine the law, is expected around late afternoon.

Upon returning from the weekly party caucus luncheons, the Senate will vote at 2:30 p.m. to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to the Department of Homeland Security spending bill that includes language to defund President Obama’s executive actions on immigration.

Sixty votes are needed for the DHS spending bill to advance. But Democrats plan to filibuster the bill and prevent it from moving forward.
