Tuesday: Human trafficking, Keystone
The House will consider more legislation to enhance law enforcement efforts against human trafficking, while the Senate may reach an agreement to resume debate on the Keystone bill.
The House will meet at 10 a.m. for morning hour debate and noon for legislative business. First votes will be no earlier than 1 p.m. Slated for debate are six bills to combat human trafficking, including H.R. 285, which would impose a penalty for knowingly selling advertisements that offer certain commercial sex acts. Two other measures held over from Monday’s debate, apart from the other four passed by voice vote, will get roll call votes.
