Wednesday: Keystone, natural gas pipelines
The House will consider legislation to expedite approval of natural gas pipeline applications, while the Senate will continue debating a bill to approve the Keystone XL pipeline.
At 9:30 a.m., the Senate will convene and proceed to a period of morning business for one hour, with senators able to speak for up to ten minutes each. Votes are expected on amendments to the Keystone bill, but the timing has not yet been announced.
{mosads}The House will convene at 10 a.m. for morning hour debate and noon for legislative business. On tap is a bill, H.R. 161, that would expedite the federal review process for natural gas pipeline applications. Last votes are expected by late afternoon.
