House now at 434 members

All 434 current House members have been sworn into office, a certification made more than a week after the start of the new Congress.

A notice was read aloud on the House floor Wednesday afternoon that Rep. Alan Nunnelee (R-Miss.) had been sworn in remotely by Judge Michael Mills in Tupelo, Miss. Nunnelee has been recovering for months from brain surgery in June.
