Romney’s Second TV Ad Targets Fiscal Conservatives
Former Massachusetts governor and 2008 presidential hopeful Mitt Romney (R) launched his campaign’s second television ad in Iowa and New Hampshire Wednesday, setting his sights on wooing fiscal conservatives.
In the ad, Romney pledges to veto congressional budgets that exceed his proposed cap, which would limit non-defense discretionary spending at inflation minus one percent. “I know how to veto,” Romney says. “I like vetoes.”
