Dodd Advocates Timetable for Withdrawing U.S. Troops

In this presidential campaign video, Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) said the United States should set up a timetable to begin bringing U.S. forces home from Iraq.

“No one is going to be elected president of the United States in the year 2008 unless there’s a sense of keeping our country secure…” Dodd said. “I happen to believe very very strongly that the present course, the status quo of where we are in Iraq today, is making us less secure – far more vulnerable and far more isolated.”
