Gen. Clark Is Mum on Potential Endorsement

The YearlyKos Convention continues Friday with panels on the blogosphere’s relationship with the mainstream media and other panels featuring economic and foreign policy advisers to the different Democratic presidential candidates.
Retired Gen. Wesley Clark started the day by speaking to more than 500 convention-goers, criticizing the Bush administration and praising the netroots.
Clark spoke with reporters from the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, TalkingPointsMemo.com and www.ustream.tv. Each of us tried to get him to jump into the presidential fray, asking him about the state of play in the presidential race, whether he would endorse a candidate for president, and if the use of nuclear weapons should be an option.
In short, Clark said the Democrats have fielded some very strong candidates.
