Now is the Time to Redeploy (Rep. Lacy Clay)
The President’s attempt to repackage the same failed policy in this tragic and unnecessary war insults the intelligence of the American people. The United States has suffered more than 30,000 casualties in Iraq, and U.S. taxpayers have spent half a trillion dollars. Enough is enough. We need to responsibly redeploy our troops without further delay. The future of Iraq is not in our hands. It is the responsibility of the Iraqi people and their elected government.
