Childhood Obesity Group Parodies Larry Craig

An anti-childhood obesity group has parodied Sen. Larry Craig’s (R-Idaho) bathroom solicitation scandal in a TV ad that will begin airing Wednesday.

In it, a lawmaker taps his foot in a men’s room stall and receives handfuls of cash from a pig who sits in the next stall with a briefcase full of $100 bills.

The narrator says members of Congress take money from PACs that represent producers of fatty foods and “dump[ing] them on our schools.”

“Companies get rich, kids get fat,” the narrator says. See the ad, produced by the Physicians Committeee for Responsible Medicine (stopchildhoodobesity.org), below.
