Time to Fulfill Promise to Taiwan (Rep. Scott Garrett)
The people of Taiwan deserve a seat at the international table. In 1994, the United States made a commitment to the Taiwanese people that we would more actively support their membership in appropriate international organizations and today is the day to fulfill that commitment and let them have a voice in the United Nations.
Rep. Garret will introduce legislation tomorrow allowing UN membership for Taiwan.
