Nobody Knows What Will Happen in Michigan, But I’m Optimistic for Mitt Romney (Rep. Joe Knollenberg)
This whole thing in Michigan is so tight nobody knows what will happen. You could predict an outcome but nobody really knows. The poll numbers coming in show that this keeps swinging two or three points in one direction and then back the other way. So it’s anybody’s guess.
Right now it’s all about doing as much as we can possibly do. We have to beat on doors and hit the phones as hard as we can and hope that after tomorrow it was enough.
I’ve known Mitt and the rest of the family for a long time here in Michigan. His father was CEO of American Motors here before he became Governor. Mitt grew up right here in my district and his family has been very involved in leadership in this state.
Nobody is predicting the outcome. But we’re optimistic.
