Burris Has ‘Great Discussion’ With Durbin
A 59-minute meeting between Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Sen. Roland Burris (D-Ill.) is over, with Burris describing the meeting as “a great discussion” but declining to comment otherwise.
“I’m under orders not to speak about this,” Burris said. “My attorney suggested I don’t discuss this.”
Durbin plans to address the media shortly.
