Tweet of the Day: Pi Day forever!
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) may have just faced one of his toughest symbolic votes yet.
The freshman lawmaker voted against a resolution naming March 14th “Pi Day” after soliciting input and publicly wavering on his Twitter page.
In the end, though, he just couldn’t do it.
“I cannot support Pi Day as just one day,” Chaffetz tweeted Thursday. “It should go on forever.”
“I voted ‘Nay,'” he added, before noting: “It passed 391-10.”
