McCotter: GOPers ‘Free to Start Thinking Again’

Republicans are free to start thinking for themselves again, Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.) said after Tuesday’s electoral loses in the House.

“We’re rock bottom,” McCotter told the Washington Times. “We are now free to start thinking again, acting again, and doing the right thing by what our constituents and our country need.”

McCotter, chairman of the House Republican Conference Policy Committee, is being challenged by Rep. Michael Burgess (R-Texas) in the next Congress.
