Santorum making $1,750 per column

I want this gig: Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum is raking in $1,750 per column from the Philadelphia Inquirer.

And get this, the Philadelphia Daily News discovered that Santorum, a Republican, is getting paid that amount for his columns, which appear once every other week, in documents the Inquirer filed to a U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

Santorum, was touted as a rising star in the GOP, lost to Democratic Sen. Bob Casey in 2006 by a 18 points.

I wonder how much they would pay him per blog post?
