Emanuel Will Attend Obama’s Speech Tuesday
Resigning from the House doesn’t mean you can’t go back for a big speech, it seems.
White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, who not long ago had “(D-Ill.)” behind his name, will attend President Obama’s joint address Tuesday night, The Hill has learned.
Emanuel represented Illinois’s 5th congressional district, which includes neighborhoods in northern Chicago, until resigning in early January to become White House Chief of Staff.
